Warehousing & distribution

Storage and distribution close to the port — including bonded options for goods that should not pay duty until they are sold.

Storage

Short- and medium-term storage in Durban for palletised and loose cargo, plus open storage at very reasonable rates as an extension of our service. Our warehouse is equipped with modern handling equipment, giving us the capacity to pack and unpack containers affordably, deconsolidate LCL shipments and stage export cargo ahead of stack opening.

Bonded warehousing

For imported goods awaiting sale, re-export or entry under a specific procedure, we arrange storage in a licensed customs and excise bonded warehouse. Duty and VAT are paid only on removal for home consumption, which improves cash flow and gives you flexibility with excisable and high-duty products.

Distribution

  • Order-based picking and dispatch to your customers
  • Delivery within KwaZulu-Natal and line-haul nationally
  • Stock reports and proof of delivery
  • Integration with your import clearing file, so goods move from vessel to shelf with one set of paperwork

Frequently asked

What is the benefit of a bonded warehouse?

Duty and VAT are deferred until the goods are removed for home consumption. If goods are re-exported, duty is not paid at all. It is particularly valuable for excisable and high-duty products.

Do you own the warehouse?

We work with licensed warehouse partners in Durban and manage the customs and excise entries and removals on your behalf, so you deal only with us.

Can you store hazardous or temperature-controlled goods?

Subject to product and quantity, yes, through appropriately licensed facilities. Tell us the commodity and we will confirm options.
