Contact details you submit through our forms or by email (name, company, email, phone, message) so that we can respond to your enquiry and provide quotes and services. Shipment and commercial documents you provide so that we can lodge customs entries and arrange transport as required by law and by our contract with you. Basic technical data (IP address, browser) collected by our hosting and security systems to keep the site secure.
Processing is necessary to respond to your request, to perform our contract with you, and to comply with the Customs & Excise Act and related legislation, which requires us to retain clearing records for the prescribed period.
We share information only with parties needed to perform the service — SARS and other authorities, carriers, transporters, warehouses and our IT and hosting providers — under confidentiality obligations. We do not sell personal information.
Enquiry data is kept for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and for a reasonable period afterwards. Clearing records are retained for the statutory period. We use technical and organisational measures, including access controls, encryption in transit and monitored hosting, to protect the information we hold.
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, and may object to processing, by contacting us at the details above. You may also lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator (South Africa).
