Domestic transport

Container haulage from Durban terminals, break-bulk collection, and full- and part-load line-haul to Gauteng, the Cape, the Free State and KwaZulu-Natal, using contracted transporters we have vetted for reliability, insurance and safety.

Cross-border into SADC

We handle export clearance in South Africa, transit documentation and border formalities at the crossing, and hand-over to in-country clearing agents where required. Regular corridors include Beitbridge (Zimbabwe), Lebombo (Mozambique), Kopfontein and Skilpadshek (Botswana), Oshoek and Golela (Eswatini) and Maseru Bridge (Lesotho).

What we manage

  • Export and transit entries, SADC certificates of origin
  • Border-post pre-clearance and truck scheduling to reduce queue time
  • Road bond facilities and guarantee arrangements for goods in transit
  • Tracking updates from collection to delivery
  • Abnormal load and dangerous goods permits where required

Frequently asked

How long does a Beitbridge crossing take?

It varies with volumes and the time of month. Pre-lodged documentation, correct permits and a scheduled arrival make the biggest difference; we plan around the current conditions.

Do you deliver to inland points from Durban?

Yes. Containers cleared in Durban can be delivered anywhere in South Africa, or unpacked and dispatched as break-bulk.

Can you arrange the in-country clearing in Zimbabwe or Mozambique?

Yes, through partner agents at each border, so the shipment has one point of contact from Durban to the consignee.
