Import sea freight
We arrange collection at origin (EXW/FCA), ocean freight with lines and NVOCCs we have worked with for years, and full customs clearance and delivery on arrival in Durban. Because the clearing team is in-house, entries are pre-lodged from the shipping documents while the vessel is still at sea.
Export sea freight
Bookings, container release, export documentation, VGM, terminal stack coordination and export clearance — with bills of lading and certificates of origin issued in time for your letter of credit or buyer’s deadline.

- LCL groupage consolidations, import and export
- Break-bulk and out-of-gauge cargo, subject to survey
- Reefer and temperature-controlled cargo with Port Health clearance

Do you offer door-to-door sea freight?
Yes. We quote from the supplier’s door to yours, including origin collection, ocean freight, clearance, port charges and delivery, itemised so you can see each cost.
How much notice do you need for an export booking?
For standard FCL exports, two to three weeks before the intended sailing is comfortable; for peak season or specialised equipment, longer. LCL exports need less lead time.
Do you handle marine insurance?
We can arrange marine cargo insurance through an underwriter for individual shipments or on an open cover for regular traffic.
